Adrian Pasdar Arrested for DUI

According to reports, Heroes star, Adrian Pasdar was arrested on Wednesday night in Los Angeles on suspicion of DUI. He was supposedly going 94 mph on the 405 Freeway when he was stopped. He is said to have been taken in at 2:59am and police had determined he was under the influence.

Going by Adrian’s booking report he was reportedly released on $15,000 and was picked up from the station at 8:30 am.

I wonder if wife Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks picked him up from the station. You know he got in a lot of trouble when he got home. Do you think we’ll be seeing a mugshot any time soon?

Hayden Panettiere may only be twenty years old, but she is already a seasoned Hollywood veteran. With guest appearances on shows like Law & Order: SVU, countless movies under her belt and a hit TV series, Panettiere will be sticking around for a while.

And she’s not too bad to look at either. She’s easily the hottest chick to ever don a cheer leading uniform and the lesbian storyline that you are now seeing on her hit show Heroes was all her idea!

She’s beautiful, talented and not afraid to take risks, and now she’s EveryJoe’s Chick of the Day.

Comic-Con '09: Heroes Carnival

Saturday night at Comic-Con, NBC set up a full carnival, complete with games, food, and prizes, in promotion of the upcoming Volume 5 of Heroes. Volume 5, “Redemption,” features a group of characters with powers that have integrated into society by becoming carnival acts, so the Comic-Con carnival was made to resemble the one from the show. Aside from all the fun and games, there were tons of images of the cast, stills from the upcoming season, and even a special tent showing the trailer for Volume 5 on a loop.

"Heroes" Nissan Cube Giveaway at Comic-Con

Comic-Con is about to get underway and, as always, it’s shaping up to be a big event. Fortunately, I was forwarded some goodies to give you an idea of what Heroes will be showcasing. Of course, you will get to learn about the upcoming season but there is even more incentive to stop by the Heroes booth.

A Nissan Cube will be given away on each of the four days of the conference (from July 23-26, 2009) and entering to win is super easy! All you have to do is go to the booth and get your badge scanned. That’s it! Can you imagine how awesome it would be to win the Cube? Going to Comic-Con is exciting enough but you could end up leaving with a new car!

As if that’s not enough, Heroes will also be hosting a carnival (sponsored by Sprint) just across from the convention center at the Gaslamp Hilton. Head on over and enjoy games, food, a bungee trampoline and many more goodies! You can also check out some exclusive footage and production stills from the new season!

Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) in Shinobi commercial

Have you seen it? Or if you\’ve seen it, do you remember it? If memory serves right, the television commercial for Shinobi on the PlayStation 2 should have appeared close to its release way back in November 2002. Well, if you haven\’t seen it or wish to refresh your memory, go take a gander:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFor those who are clueless as to who Hiro Nakamura and Masi Oka are, they are one and the same but not really. Confusing? Haha. Read on.\r\n\r\nMasi Oka (his full name is Masayori Oka) is a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated actor. His most memorable role is undoubtedly Hiro Nakamura, one of the protagonist in the hit NBC series Heroes.\r\n\r\nShinobi, on the other hand, is a video game in the Shinobi series for PlayStation 2, developed by Overworks and published by Sega. The Shinobi for PS2, of course, follows the original Shinobi story of the last members of the Oboro clan.\r\n\r\nHere\’s a brief background courtesy of Wikipedia:\r\n\r\n

The role of Shinobi is most commonly associated with that of Joe Musashi, the protagonist of the original arcade game and many of its sequels. His name is a combination of both an archetypal Western first name and Japanese last name, Musashi likely being derived from the legendary Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. In the manual of The Revenge of Shinobi, Musashi\’s backstory is told as that of a weak boy who first entered the dojo of the Oboro Clan at a young age and gradually, through tireless practice and meditation, worked himself up to become the most skilled and respected ninja of his clan.\r\n\r\nHis peaceful existence in the mountains of Japan is shattered when the totalitarian crime syndicate Neo Zeed rises to power and threatens to take over the world. The Oboro Clan is hunted down by Zeed\’s minions, his master assassinated and his girlfriend Naoko taken hostage. Musashi swears revenge, and in the ensuing battles, as chronicled in The Revenge of Shinobi, all but annihilates Neo Zeed. When Neo Zeed returns in Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, the ninja comes out of retirement one final time and destroys the crime organization for good.
