If you are a fan of the series, chances are you thought that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was great. I thought it was the best adaptation of the books so far (yes, I’m aware of the numerous changes, though) and the effects were absolutely incredible.
This installment is dark, funny and the most intense so far. The plot unfolds during Harry’s sixth year at Hogwarts and Dumbledore is doing all that he can to prepare the young wizard… More »
Add Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to the list of really freakin’ cool games that I’m not going to get my hands on until at least Christmas.
AND, apparently I’m the only person who hasn’t played this game since as of the 18th of this month, Modern Warfare 2 had taken in an astounding $550 million dollars worldwide in the first five days.
Five. Days. $550 million dollars. Wow.
What’s even more impressive is that “Modern Warfare 2′s launch beat all… More »
Harry Potter is taking the film world by storm…again…and the newest game, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, is doing pretty well itself.
The game was released early this month in time to grab some of the hoopla that came with the release of the movie and was released for the Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, DS, PC, Mac, and mobile devices.
Anyway, I found four screenshots of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince for the Nintendo Wii and… More »
With the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Pottermania is well underway. I’ve seen Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron) and Emma Watson (Hermione) on basically every talk show promoting the film and the audiences really love them!
Fans of all ages seem very fascinated with their lives so you might be interested in winning a copy of A&E Home Entertainment’s recently released Harry Potter Kids.
If you love the movies, you will love watching a biography of the… More »

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits theaters today and I’m sure it’s going to kill at the box office! I’ve been really looking forward to seeing this book adapted for the big screen. This storyline is really different from the earlier ones in a lot of ways.
Hogwarts is really, really unsafe. Some students have chosen to not even enrol for the school year. Dumbledore knows that he’s got to prepare Harry for the possibility of a major battle with… More »
e Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game will be released tomorrow and will be available on the following platforms: Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360 and Mobile. This summer, movie-goers are being treated to some incredible original movies as well as some amazing-looking sequels. With blockbuster season already underway, I thought it might be a great time to look at what’s already out in theatres as well as what to expect in the coming months.
May was a big month this year with the release of Wolverine: X-Men Origins, Star Trek and Terminator Salvation. There was some controversy with Wolverine being leaked online ahead of its’ big-screen debut… More »
The official website for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has launched and, as usual, Warner Bros. has created an awesome resource (although the navigation of the site leaves a lot to be desired).
Harry Potter fans will have access to videos (three trailers!), information about the film, a photo gallery (there are a LOT of great pictures) and downloads (posters, wallpapers and buddy icons).
There is also a link to the website of the previous movie, Harry Potter and the Order… More »
I was one of those people who didn’t read the Harry Potter books until after they had all come out and I’ve read them all twice. One thing I haven’t done though is play one of the games.
I can only assume that they don’t suck since the games keep getting made. Then again, maybe the game makers are just trying to cash in while they can? Regardless, a new game is being released in late June and looks pretty cool.

The newest trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was released yesterday and it is the best one yet! We get to see more of how this incredible storyline is going to come to life and I think, from what I can tell, they have done a great job with this. I think that David Yates did an excellent job with Order of the Phoenix and I’m thrilled that he has signed on for Deathly Hallows.

The new screens for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince look so much like the movies that it’s a bit scary.
This multi-platform game is sure to be a cash cow for EA since just about everything that Harry Potter touches seems to turn to gold. Think of him as a Hogwarts attending King Midas.
Now, while I’ve read all of the books and seen all of the movies, I’ve never played one of the games. Maybe now’s the time to give… More »
