The Great Pumpkin

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces Ketel One Vodka
• 1/2 ounce Baileys with a Hint of Caramel
• 1/2 ounce Pumpkin Liqueur
• Cinnamon Stick

Preparation:

1. Combine Ketel One and Baileys with a hint of caramel in a shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake well vigorously until chilled.
3. Add the pumpkin liqueur and shake again.
4. Strain into a rocks glass.
5. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Blood Martini

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces Ketel One Citroen Vodka
• 1 ounce Ginger Liqueur
• 1 ounce Dark Grape Juice
• 1/2 ounce Blackberry Syrup

Preparation:

1. Combine Ketel One Citroen, ginger liqueur, grape juice and blackberry syrup to a cocktail shaker full of ice.
2. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled Martini glass.

Grey Goose L’Orange Pumpkin Carver

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ parts GREY GOOSE® L’Orange Flavored Vodka
• ¾ part maple syrup
• ½ part Canton Ginger Liqueur
• 1 tsp pumpkin butter
• 1 part fresh lemon juice
• Garnish with apple chips

Method:

1. In a cocktail shaker, add all ingredients. Add ice.
2. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat.
3. Strain into martini glass and add apple chip to garnish.

Ingredients:

• 3 oz. Three Olives Rangtang Vodka
• ¾ oz. orange juice
• ¾ oz. lime juice

Method:

1. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass.
2. Garnish with an orange twist.

Rangtang Zombie-Tini

Ingredients:

• 2 oz. Three Olives Rangtang Vodka
• 1 oz. lime sours
• 1.5 oz POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice

Method:

Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass, garnish with a lime twist.

Gummy Worm Martini

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ oz. Three Olives Purple Vodka
• ½ oz. Blue Curacao
• 1 oz. lemon-lime soda

Method:

Pour over ice into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Speaking of which, you might want to watch Halloween since this sequel picks up right where the first one left off but if you choose not to, it’s fine – the plot isn’t that complicated.

The movie starts with Laurie Strode being taken to the hospital after surviving an attack by her brother Michael Myers.  She thinks she’s killed him but she ends up having to run from the hospital after he shows up and let’s just say he doesn’t ask the staff where to find his sister but he does take care of them…

The psycho disappears and Laurie tries to move on with her life but she’s still haunted by him years later.  Unfortunately, he’s got a family reunion planned for the anniversary of the Halloween massacre and something tells me that Laurie isn’t going to be happy to hear that she’s the guest of honor.

Two things. I originally named the graphic above macguywear.jpg, and I thought, “Wow! That looks alot like MacGyver!” If you think about it, MacGyver is a nice combination of Mr. PC and Mr. Mac. Casual, yet sophisticated, capable of figuring out anything.

Lastly, these commercials are very entertaining. I think the last one should be the Mac guy coming out dressed like the PC guy and standing in for him in a business meeting. After all, with Bootcamp, you can run Windows and do everything a PC can do right?
