After watching their friends get picked off one by one in the first film, insufferable goodie-goodie, Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Ray Bronson (Freddie Prinze Jr.) manage to survive. Julie is now away at college sulking and having nightmares about the man they basically murdered “last summer” when her roommate, Karla (Brandy), wins a trip for four to an island resort. Karla immediately invites her boyfriend, Tyrell (Mekhi Phifer) and encourages Julie to come along. In an effort to prevent Julie from being the third wheel, they invite Will Benson (Matthew Settle) to come along and keep her company.

After they arrive on the island, things go predictably wrong and they soon find themselves hunted by a crazed killer.

You might get a kick out of seeing Jack Black as Titus in the movie even though he goes uncredited.

It’s a super corny slasher film but it’s perfect for a Friday night on the couch!

Freddie Prinze Jr. has found work! I was honestly beginning to wonder if the man had fallen from the face of the earth. It was like the second he married Sarah Michelle Gellar, his career went south. What was that all about?

Anyway, Freddie will be joining the cast of 24 in a recurring role. His character, Davis Cole, is a “recently returned Marine who runs CTU Field Ops and wants to follow in Jack Bauer’s (Kiefer Sutherland) footsteps.”

Maybe this will attract some viewers who haven’t seen the show (I will admit to never having watched a single episode). In case you are as unfamiliar with 24 as I am, the show is in real time so that each season depicts just 24 hours in the life of Jack Bauer, who works with the United States government as it fights fictitious terrorist threats to the United States.

As a side note, while I was researching for this post, I discovered that it’s also the second longest-running espionage series in television history in two different ways. The longest running espionage show (in terms of episodes) is the original Mission: Impossible while The Avengers takes first place in terms of longevity of broadcast.

Freddie won’t be the only “new guy” on the set. Slumdog Millionaire star, Anil Kapoor, was also recently named as a new addition.

Actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. has joined the WWE's "creative team" in what must surely be considered a continuation of the WWE's TV-PG rating all the time initiative.

What this means is anybody's guess. Here are some things we would like to see:

1. Prinze wrests RAW GM controls away from Mike Adamle.

2. Prinze brings in pale-skinned Scooby Doo, She's All That, and Wing Commander co-star Matthew Lillard who then starts ECW feud with pale-skinned Colin Delaney.
