Wahlberg recently said: “We’ll see; there could be more.  But then a movie.”

Of course, someone contacted HBO about this and a spokeswoman said: “It is not out of the realm of possibility. Right now, the creators are concentrating on the new season.”

The show was picked up for a sixth cycle and it probably has another two seasons to go.  I guess it will depend on where the storyline is at that point but I just feel like a movie would be weird.

Meanwhile, Drama tries to make amends with the executive, Dan Coakley, at his studio after he attacked the man for spending time with Turtle’s girlfriend, Jamie-Lynn Siegler.  After groveling, losing his temper again, and groveling some more, Drama learns that he isn’t going to be fired from his show but that his life is about to get more nightmarish.

Eric (Kevin Connolly) is trying to get the hang of things on his first day working for Murray when he discovers that his fellow manager, Scott, is feeling threatened by his presence.  Scott is determined to impress Murray by signing Bob Saget and, when comes back from his meeting with the comedian, he begrudgingly tells Eric that Saget has agreed to come by the agency but only if E is in on the deal.  Even though the meeting takes place in Scott’s office, Bob Saget refuses to even deal with him and insists that, if he is going to sign with the agency, he needs to work with Eric.  Of course, Scott is upset – especially when Saget kicks him out of his own office!  When Eric asks what it would take to sign him, Saget reveals that he wants to have sex in Murray’s office.  Afterwards, Eric finds Scott and tells him that he can get full credit for signing Saget if he gets Murray to agree to let him have sex in his office.  Scott refuses and even accuses E of trying to set him up and Eric goes to Murray and asks the boss himself.  Murray is impressed that Eric is taking such initiative on just his first day and, after teasing him for a minute, he agrees to let Saget have sex in his office as long as Eric has a cleaning crew go in there after.

Vince and Turtle try to buy handguns but are discouraged by the 10-day waiting period and go home empty-handed, only to discover that Drama has come home with a bag full of loaded weapons.  They play around with them until Drama accidentally shoots out a window.  Vince says he is going to call Ari’s security people.  Good plan.

Just a note – there was no Ashley in this episode (yay!) so I’m wondering if it means

First of all, what do you think of the guest appearances?  I seriously cracked up about the dynamics between Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and Tom Brady when the football star and Mark Wahlberg made a guest appearance (as themselves) for a charity golf event.  Turtle was hell-bent on telling Brady that he sucks but then the quarterback brought up his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, and even suggested that Turtle and his girlfriend, Jamie-Lynn Siegler, come over for dinner sometime.  That turned Turtle into an ass-kissing freak and I thought it was totally hilarious (and realistic).

In terms of relationships, Vince (Adrien Grenier) will continue to have one-night stands but I’m more interested in what happens to Eric (Kevin Connolly).  Let me just make this clear right now – I CANNOT STAND his new girlfriend, Ashley.  I hate the character, I am not fond of the actress and I think she’s just rude, immature and all wrong for E.  I was never overly fond of Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) but I’m practically desperate for her and E to get back together.  Chriqui said this about the situation: “There’s resolution [and] unexpected surprises.”

Of course, these aren’t the only romantic storylines experiencing some drama.  What the heck is Ari (Jeremy Piven) going to do about Andrew and his workplace affair with Lizzie Grant?  I smell sexual harrassment lawsuit (and, of course, I think that Andrew is going to self-destruct like the jackass that he is).  Since Ari kept this a secret from his wife (Perry Reeves), there’s been friction but, apparently, there’s more in store for the couple.  Piven teased: “All the seeds that I’ve planted unravel.  The whole thing is going to be blowing up in my face, and yet the wife stands by me, and I have to borrow a great deal of money from her, so it’s going to get really, really ugly before it gets beautiful.”   Let’s hope he starts to give Lloyd a break.

I won’t recap every detail but I thought I’d refresh your memories about some of the major developments from last season.

After Eric (Kevin Connolly) and Ari (Jeremy Piven) secure him the role, Vince (Adrian Grenier) begins work on Smoke Jumpers but things don’t go well.  Initially, he believes that his co-star, Jason Patric, is stealing his lines but he soon learns that the director, Verner (Stellan Skaarsgard), has been giving Vince’s dialogue away because he doesn’t think he’s a good actor.  Eventually, Verner fires Vince and after some drama, the movie gets shelved.

Eric does his best to secure a role for Vince in an upcoming Gus Van Sant film.  Initially, he tells E that he’s not interested in Vince because he doesn’t like his acting but, after Eric insists, Van Sant agrees to review some footage from Smoke Jumpers.  He loves it and says that he would love to work with Vince but not on his current project.  The disappointment leads to a breaking point for Vince, who takes out his frustration on E and fires him as his manager.  Eric travels back to Hollywood alone and puts his efforts into representing Charlie (Bow Wow).  Back in Queens, Vince gets a call and learns that, because of Eric’s persistence, he is being offered a part in a Martin Scorsese film.  Of course, he regrets how he treated E and flies out to California to apologize.

Meanwhile, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) meets Jamie-Lynn Siegler (as herself) on a plane and they really hit it off until things go sour after he tells the gang about their intimate encounter.  Fortunately, she later forgives him and by the final episode, the pair are comfortable with making their relationship public.

The final episode ends with them all back in Hollywood celebrating.

I haven’t heard very much about the storyline for season six but they have released information about this year’s guest stars.  There are many cameos in store but I’m looking forward to seeing the gang’s encounters with Lil Wayne, LeBron James, Tom Brady and Zac Efron.

The show, which is loosely based on producer, Mark Wahlberg’s rise to fame in Hollywood, stars Adrien Grenier as movie star, Vincent Chase.  His “entourage” includes his less successful brother, Johnny (Kevin Dillon) and his best friends Eric (Kevin Connolly) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara).

When I first watched this show, I was impressed by the chemistry between the actors but I was completely blown away by Jeremy Piven’s portrayal of ruthless agent, Ari Gold, who is based on the legendary real-life agent, Ari Emanuel (the brother of White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel).

It’s a great show and I can’t wait to find out what happens this season!

Eye witnesses claim (according to E! Online) that Efron “was filming a scene and talking on his cell phone" and that "none of the other Entourage cast” was in the store.  Apparently, “he was really nice."

HBO also confirmed some of the other guests who will be making cameos including Lil Wayne, Tom Brady, LeBron James and Aaron Sorkin.

Are you looking forward to this new season?  I can barely wait.  I think True Blood also returns (for its second season) that night so I plan to be on my couch with some snacks.

I wonder what Eric and Vince’s relationship will be like now that they seem to have made up after Vince fired him and acted like a complete jerk.  From what I have heard, this is going to be a bigger year for E’s role since he might actually end up with two love interests – Alexis Dziena has been cast as potential girlfriend, Ashley, while Kate Mara will be playing E’s new assistant.  Of course, I also want to know what is going on with Turtle and Jamie Lynn Siegler!

In case you aren’t familiar with Entourage, the show is produced by Mark Wahlberg and is loosely based on his experiences after he moved to Los Angeles.  The cast is phenomenal (although, Jeremy Piven, who plays agent, Ari Gold, clearly steals the show from the main character, Vincent Chase, played by Adrian Grenier) and the writing is excellent.

John Griffith, the vice president of programming at Spike TV said that Entourage is “the epitome of aspirational television for guys.  Who wouldn’t want to hang out with Vinnie Chase and his crew?”

I would definitely hang out with them if I could!

What do all championship athletes do after the big game, big meet, big match? Why, they go to Disney World, of course! And Michael Phelps is no exception. The winner of eight Gold Medals for swimming in the Beijing Games joined Mickey Mouse on Wednesday for a ride down Main Street in a red convertible, to the delight of cheering fans. Below is a video of the welcome parade.

Phelps-mania shows no sign of abating soon. The 23-year-old will appear on Oprah Winfrey’s season debut, which tapes next week, with 149 other US Olympians and he’s scheduled to play himself in an upcoming episode of HBO’s series “Entourage.”
