If you’re looking to watch something informative, interesting and funny, apparently, the film Good Hair might be a good choice for you. The film was produced and narrated by comedian Chris Rock, who also stars in the documentary.

The film is a documentary about African American women’s hair, and the struggle to have what is referred to as “good hair.” He did a lot of research and went many places including beauty salons, hair styling conventions, barber shops and even went to India, where many hair weaves are actually originate.

You’ll also see appearances made by Ice-T, Maya Angelou, Paul Mooney, Raven-Symoné, Nia Long, KRS-One, Salt-n-Pepa, Kerry Washington, Eve, Reverend Al Sharpton, and Meagan Good.

They speak about their hair and experiences related to hair in the African American community. He also interviews hair stylists, product consumers and people in the hair industry.

Rock was slammed with a lawsuit filed by a woman named Regina Kimbell who says that his film is an infringement on her documentary My Nappy Roots: A Journey Through Black Hair-itage. She supposedly screened it for him in 2007.

I looks like an interesting documentary definitely worth watching. Coming from African American heritage, I definitely know the struggle of trying to have what people think is “good hair”! You can watch the movie on DVD now.

And when I say Ricky Williams is going do marriage (comma) documentary, I don’t mean the marriage will necessarily be part of the documentary. Are you confused yet? Well that’s the joy that Ricky Williams gives you! It’s all confusion, not knowing what to think next.

First the good news. Ricky is getting married this weekend to his girlfriend Kristin Barnes. I have to say it’s refreshing to see someone with Ricky’s past to embrace life in this way and get hitched. He has made a public spectacle of himself, and then matured in front of all of our eyes so we no longer have anything to say but “Well done.”

Ricky is playing one more year with the Dolphins. But here’s the other interesting tidbit about this young man (and he still is young, thought thankfully not as young as when he was the poster boy for smoking weed and losing your lucrative football job.) Ricky is doing a documentary. Himself. As in: he has hired someone to film his “true story.” The thing is, this ain’t new. He first hired on this documentary film staff in 2004. And they are still filming.

That’s a no brainer. Ricky’s story is anything but over. When we thought it was over was when he left Miami and the U.S. Left football. Went on 60 Minutes and talked about smoking weed with no apologies. I’m glad they didn’t film his life then.

Because the life we see unfold before us is so much more interesting. When will the documentary be finished? What will happen next with Ricky? Time will tell. Until then, we’ll be watching with a smile at someone we used to just shake our heads at.

Yes, the Halo 3 onslaught continues. Here are a couple more Halo 3 ads. Thankfully, Master Chief didn’t have to fight huge lizards for these clips.

This one’s pretty good. I love the way the Spiker looked, and when the veteran picked it up, the weapon seemed really heavy. Have I mentioned that the video had that “documentary” vibe that gave off some convincing drama? Watch the second video after the jump.

The second one reeks of cheese, though. Have you ever seen a documentary that doesn’t use any sort of light or night vision for its cameras? According to the veteran in this clip, the damage done to a particular tree was made by a plasma rifle, but you can’t even see the hit very well. Turning off the lights in the spot where the trees are felt rather forced, and calling the Halo protagonist by his complete name twice didn’t feel natural.
