The Dark Knight Rises is directed by Christopher Nolan. Christian Bale stars as Batman, while Michael Caine is Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman is James Gordon and Morgan Freeman is Lucius Fox. New characters for this film will be Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) and Bane (Tom Hardy).

The Dark Knight Rises will be the final installment in this Batman series. Filming is taking place all around the world — from L.A. to India and from New York to Glasgow.

The Dark Knight was a huge box office hit, generating more than a billion dollars. Don’t be surprised if this movie does even better.
