Betty White Turns 90

Betty White was funny on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls, but in recent years, Betty has garnered a cult-like following. She was a big hit when she hosted Saturday Night Live and appears in many commercials.

Today, Betty White turns 90. The last surviving Golden Girl, White doesn’t appear to be slowing down. On Monday, she was celebrated in a star-studded TV special on NBC — “Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A tribute to America’s Golden Girl.” And now, she’s about to premiere a new show Off Their Rockers — a senior citizen hidden camera show.

Congrats to Betty White on all her achievements, and Happy Birthday!

Jerry Lewis Too Sick to Perform

Legend Jerry Lewis was scheduled to perform a sold-out charity concert in Sydney, Australia on Friday but the 85-year-old was too sick to get out of the car and never made it on stage.

The concert was set to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of Australia. And though the audience was told they could have refunds, they instead choose to allow the charity to keep the proceeds.

The head of the MDF of Australia also released a statement: “We would like to apologise to people who purchased tickets for tonight’s show but in unforseen circumstances, Jerry was not well enough to take the stage. Jerry is in Australia solely to raise awareness of and funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, but understandably his health is the number one priority and this takes precedence. We are very appreciative of those people in attendance tonight who nominated to donate the ticket cost to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation rather than request a refund.”

Lewis was briefly hospitalized but released and back at his hotel. His publicist, Candi Cazau, said Lewish was “just feeling a little under the weather.”

Columbo Dies at 83

Peter Falk, the star of the TV series Columbo, died on Thursday night at 83-years-old. Falk, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shera, and two daughters from his previous marriage.

Though he was widely known for his role as police detective, Lt. Frank Columbo, Falk also starred in other works, including Princess Bride and Brigadoon.

Jennifer Lopez’s Nipple Slip on German TV

On Saturday, Jennifer Lopez was filming a live show for Germany TV in Palma, Spain when she had a major wardrobe malfunction. Jennifer was trying to fix the bottom of her dress and when she bent over — her boob popped out.

Many stars have had a nipple slip — from the famous Janet Jackson Super Bowl nip to many young celebs, who undoubtedly have uncovered a nipple (or other body parts) on purpose.

J.Lo’s nip slip comes after her legal battle with her ex-hubby over a sex tape of the two of them together.

Celebrity Rehab Season 5 Cast

The new season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew premieres later this month. Dr. Drew’s new patients will feature plenty of familiar faces including Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael.

Another interesting person on the cast is former baseball star Dwight Gooden, who has been battling drug and legal problems for years. Amy Fischer is also sure to capture viewers attention: After shooting Joey Buttafucoco’s wife, she became a writer and a porn star after serving time.

The rest of the cast includes:

Bai Ling (famous for nothing)
Jeremy Jackson (Baywatch)

Gil Scott-Heron Dies at 62

Prolific musician, poet, author and hip-hop pioneer Gil Scott-Heron, who wrote The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, died in New York on Friday at age 62. Though the cause of death is unknown, Scott-Heron had been battling cocaine addiction and HIV infection for decades.

Considered the Godfather of Rap, Scott-Heron was a key figure in post-civil rights articulation of Black America, while his early works were a forerunner to modern hip-hop.

An outpouring of condolences hit Twitter from leaders in the rap industry including Diddy, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Lupe Fiasco and many others.

Kwesi Boakye to Star with P-Diddy on Hawaii Five-O

If you haven’t heard the name Kwesi Boakye yet, you will soon. This kid is the latest Hollywood sensation at only 11-years-old. And pretty soon, you’ll see him on screen with P-Diddy.

Kwesi Boakye has nabbed a huge guest-starring role on the CBS hit TV series “Hawaii Five-O,” playing the character of Kevin Cole, son of Hip-Hop mogul turned actor, Sean ‘P-Diddy’ Combs who will portray his father Reggie Cole. “Hawaii Five-O” marks P-Diddy’s first television role.

The segment is scheduled to air Tuesday, April 18, 2011. While the adorable Kwesi, who is on the fast-track to international super stardom, has amassed an impressive body of both television and film work that includes prominent roles on top-rated television shows “Hawthorne”, “Southland”, “Strong Medicine”, “The Shield”, “Day Break”, “Days Of Our Lives” and “Men Of A Certain Age” as well as starring roles in blockbuster films such as Disney’s “The Princess And The Frog” and Tyler Perry’s #1 box office hit “I Can Do Bad All By Myself”.

Kwesi also stars in the highly anticipated film “Fire Bird” that also features Lynn Collins and Michael Early. Ne-Yo Visits Universal Orlando Resort

Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter Ne-Yo – who recently played a role in the action/sci-fi film, “Battle: Los Angeles” – met up with some fellow galaxy defenders at the Men In Black: Alien Attack attraction while at Universal Orlando Resort on April 2, 2011.

Ne-Yo spent some time at Universal Studios theme park before his scheduled concert for Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration. Mardi Gras at Universal Studios brings nationally renowned musical acts combine with an authentic Mardi Gras parade, Cajun cooking, and hand-picked New Orleans bands to capture the look, feel and fun of the Big Easy.

The chicks from Friends were hot during the run of the show (well okay, not Phoebe) but how have they done against Father Time? I’m sure that Jennifer Aniston (42), Courteney Cox (46) and Lisa Kudrow (47) may have had a nip and tuck, but let’s take a look at how they’ve aged.

We gotta hand it to the girls. Ross, Chandler and Joey have seen their better days.
