Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Tish have filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable difference. The couple are the parents of teenage pop star Miley Cyrus. They have five children and have been married for 17 years.

“As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers,” the two said in a statement.
