Most Important Person On Twitter for 2011
Being influential on Twitter is very valuable. Companies will pay famous people with a lot of money tens of thousands of dollars for a single tweet. So that begs the question: who was the most important person on Twitter in 2011?
To judge, we’ll look at the person who gets the most retweets. While followers is nice, it’s easier to spam followers than it is to spam retweets. Thus, for this measurement, we’ll use retweets instead of followers.

New Orleans Saints Visit Barack Obama
Sunday saw President Barack Obama hoop it up with basketball stars. On Monday, Obama was in a football state of mind. He hosted the New Orleans Saints to recognize the team for their Super Bowl victory. Obama praised the team for helping lift the spirit of the city of New Orleans following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
