AT&T Now Offering $250,000 Reward
Originally, AT&T was offering $100,000 to catch vandals that affected their service in California. Now, AT&T has upped the ante to $250,000 for information that leads to arresting and convicting those responsible for severing fiber cables nears the cities of San Carlos and San Jose.
Further investigation has discovered that the vandalism took place within manholes. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, took many hours for AT&T to repair and restore service to cell phones, landlines and internet connections.

AT&T Announces $100,000 Reward
After vandals severed underground fiber cables in the Californian cities of San Jose and San Carlos on Thursday, AT&T announced a reward totaling $100,000 for information that leads to the arrest and eventual conviction of the people responsible for the illegal acts. The severing of the cables has caused thousands of AT&T customers to be without both phone and internet in those two cities in California and in surrounding areas.
