In a way, this chick looks even better than Angelina Jolie. That said, I’ll wait to see her body before I give her the nod.

Many YouTube commenters say that she looks like a mix of Angelina Jolie and Mena Suvari. I can’t somewhat see that.

This unnamed blabbermouth also had something to say about how this all affects her relationship with Brad: “They get in nasty arguments all the time about it.  She doesn’t respect Brad when it comes to politics, but, in the end, this won’t tear them apart.”

Do you think this is true?  Since she didn’t attend any of the Obama events with Brad, I think it’s reasonable to assume that she’s not fond of the man.  His approval rating is down so she might not be alone…

In the movie, Jolie is Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent who is charged with treason.  As a result, she’s got to use all of her skills to stay alive and find out how to clear her name.

For a million reasons, I like Jolie in this role.  She was great as the wife of a spy in The Good Shepherd and her turn in Mr & Mrs Smith was incredible (and life-changing, apparently, since she’s now got a million children with her co-star, Brad Pitt).

I thought the name was cheesy at first and I wasn’t overly impressed by the production stills but, for an early trailer, I think this movie actually looks a little bad-ass.  I think I’m probably going to want to see it.  What about you?  Watch the trailer below and tell me what you think:

Okay, now that I’ve got that out of the way, a sequel to the film is in the works and there’s talk that Angelina Jolie will reprise her role.  Uhhhh… yeah, I realize that they had a lame ass way of helping people heal in the first movie but she was shot.  In the head.  It doesn’t get more final than that and she seemed to want it that way since she would be gone.

So I find it a little interesting that director Timur Bekmanbetov is flapping his gums about how to revive her for Wanted 2.  He told MTV: “If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax. We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head.”

Why go through the trouble?  Why not just have another hot chick slip into the role opposite James McAvoy?  Timur says: “there has to be a reason for her to come back… and we know the reason.”

I’m glad someone knows why this would happen (aside from the fact that Jolie attracts the audience) since it basically means that this sequel is going to begin with an implausible resurrection which will probably set the tone for the rest of the movie.  Lame.

But . . . was it full of lies?

Former Tyson manager Steve Lott claims the answer is yes. (Thanks to reader Xavier for sending this our way). Lott, who was in the Tyson camp from 1985 to 1988, says the boxer’s pants are on fire in numerous spots throughout the film.

The bad news is, whether Tyson and Toback are stretching the truth or whether Lott simply cultivates a sour blend of grapes remains to be seen.

The good news is, our childhood Nintendo memories of Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out remain pristine and altogether untainted. (Hey, that game was fun).
