Amy Winehouse, who died on July 23rd at the age of 27, reportedly drank a huge amount of liquor before her death. After all those drugs didn’t kill her, a huge amount of alcohol finally did the trick — unfortunately.

Her family is still trying to deflect what really happened. They claim that Amy Winehouse’s blood-alcohol level was so elevated due to a “build up of alcohol” over time. It’d be healthy for everyone involved to just admit that Amy Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning as a result of downing too much liquor.

1. Drug Overdose
While it’s probably unfair to jump to this conclusion, it makes the most sense. Amy Winehouse used a lot of drugs and drank a lot of alcohol. She may have gone over the edge this time.

2. Respiratory Failure
Amy Winehouse smoked so much (crack cocaine in addition to cigarettes) that she developed lung issues. It’s possible that her lungs, and possibly her heart, simply gave out.

3. Suicide
Amy Winehouse has a long history of mental illness and erratic behavior. That makes it possible that Amy Winehouse committed suicide.

The Amy Winehouse video of her last time on stage is kinda sad to watch. She looks relatively healthy. She’s has looked a lot, lot, lot worse in the past. Nobody would have guessed that Amy Winehouse would be dead just a few dozen hours later.

Her wild ways were spurred on by drug abuse, alcohol abuse and mental illness. For about the last four years, she’s be a tabloid favorite. If she wasn’t falling down drunk, she was high or doing something crazy.

For a long time, people were predicting that Amy Winehouse’s time on Earth was limited. Today it came to an end.
