Highly respected director Tim Burton has decided to create his own version of the story, Alice in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll. He has created his own film, of the same name, based on the books.
In this film, Alice, played by Mia Wasikowska, will go back to Wonderland, the mysterious land she explored as a child. As she is reunited with some of her old pals, she must get red of the Red Queen, played by Helen Bonham Carter.

When I first heard that Tim Burton was making a new version of Alice in Wonderland, I seriously rolled my eyes. What for? We’ve all heard this story a million times and the animated Disney version is a classic. Another day, another Tim Burton film starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (Burton’s wife). Fortunately, despite the predictable casting, Burton’s films tend to be quite good (at least in my opinion).

Comedian and actor Patton Oswalt, aka the voice of Remy from Ratatouille, moderated the “Disney 3D” panel, kicking off Comic-Con’s first ever panel to show film footage in 3D. Special 3D glasses were handed out to everyone in attendance to make this possible.
