Lifehouse “Smoke in Mirrors” Album

Yesterday, rock group, Lifehouse, released their fifth album, which is called Smoke and Mirrors. This newest album is a bit more upbeat than usual Lifehouse material.

They have also released a digital deluxe version, which includes a re-recorded version of their song “Everything.” The song is originally off of their debut album, No Name Face.

Most of the tracks on the newest album were written by Lifehouse’s frontman, Jason Wade. Jude Cole also provided his song-writing skills to the album.

The deluxe edition of the album features five more tracks than the standard version.

The lead single off of the song is called “Halfway Gone”. Watch the music video for it below:

Danny Gokey “My Best Days”

Former American Idol contestant, Danny Gokey, may not have won the competition, but he certainly is making music regardless. His debut album is called My Best Days and is being released tomorrow.

Originally, the song “It’s Only” was supposed to be the first released track, however, they decided to release “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me.”

In 2008, his wife passed away after complications arose while undergoing heart surgery. This was four weeks before Gokey auditioned for American Idol.

It’s a pretty symbolic song considering all that he’s gone through. It’s great to see him making music! Take a look at his video for “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me”:

VIDEO – Shaq disses Kobe in new rap song

Just when you thought the Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant saga was over, Shaq is spotted on a new video dissing his former teammate in a rap song.

This guy has a lot of side jobs (rapper, jockey, actor, police officer). Maybe he needs to stick to just one. Check out the video below of Shaq’s freestyle rap at a club and new dis of the 2008 NBA MVP.
