With only 1 minute, 57 seconds left  to play in the fourth quarter,  Becky Hammon missed a 3-pointer and fouled Temeka Johnson. <p>That&#8217;s right. I said the <strong>San Antonio Silver Stars</strong>. You were expecting to see <strong>Candace Parker</strong> and the <strong>Los Angeles Sparks</strong>, weren&#8217;t you? </p>
<p>So was I. But then <strong>Becky Hammon</strong> happened.</p>

<p>With only 1 minute, 57 seconds left <img src='http://everyjoe.com/files/671/2008/10/beckyhammon_nc.jpg' align='left' alt='beckyhammon_nc.jpg' /> to play in the fourth quarter,  <strong>Becky Hammon</strong> missed a 3-pointer and fouled <strong>Temeka Johnson</strong>. She made both free throws, and the <strong>Sparks</strong> were up by five points. It seemed all but over until the <strong>Stars</strong> closed out the game and the series with a 9-0 run that gave the team its first ever <strong>WNBA Finals</strong> appearance. </p>
<p>Seven of those points came from <strong>Hammon</strong>.</p>
