Soccer, by its nature, is boring. Especially to Americans who are used to watching fast-pace, hard-hitting sports action offered by the NFL and NBA. Going into Friday’s quarterfinals game against the Netherlands, Brazil was widely considered the favorite to win the World Cup. They had just way too much firepower, too much talent, too much strength and too much experience, right?
