Wildcard Playoff Predictions

Can you believe the playoffs are here already? Our football year has gone so very fast. Here are my predictions for the games.

NY Jets vs Cincinnati Bengals

Winner: Bengals

The Bengals take this game easily. Sure, they’ve slowed a bit at the end of the season and they mailed it in last week against the Jets, but I think the world will be surprised at just how not ready the Jets are for the playoffs. Rex Ryan can believe his team is going all the way, but really, he has to believe that because he’s their coach. Watch for Ochocinco to have a big game.

AFC Wildcard Games

Baltimore Ravens vs New England Patriots

Winner: Ravens

It is just me, or have the Patriots had some bag mojo every since they lost in the Super Bowl a couple years ago. They had that big undefeated year and then made that feat completely irrelevant by losing the big game. Ever since then, they’ve had injuries, odd plays, and the inability to click on all cylinders. Ravens have the fire that the Patriots don’t.

NFC Wildcard Games

Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys

Winner: Cowboys

Even I can’t believe I’m picking the Cowboys here. The Cowboys aren’t my favorite team. I don’t like the coach or the quarterback, and they’ve shown that they silently fall away toward the end of the season. Still, I think they are due. This one will be a close game, but the Cowboys will take it.

Green Bay Packers vs Arizona Cardinals

Winner: Cardinals

Another re-match from the previous week. The Cardinals used the mail it in strategy that will prove victorious. The Packers have no business in the playoffs this year, and they will lose this game badly.

Jay: what was that comment of yours? That the Cowboys would “fall against the Eagles” because you were quoting stats.

    hahahaha

Nice one. Stats are misleading, you see that now right?

Kris: Yeah, I saw that. What a scene! Maybe I should have predicted whether Ochocinco would cry or not.

Revis beat him down to where he was crying on someone’s shoulder. That’s what I call a shut down corner.

Or should I say, watch for Ochocinco to be completely shut down. Bengals lose big time!

    Are the Jets for real?

Again someone thinking they know football, and it clearly shows the don’t. Bengals lost to the Jets so your down on that one. Cowboys will fall against the Eagles especially since the stats show that no NFL team has ever beaten the same opposing team three times in the same year. I do agree that Ravens will beat the Patriots as they are on the way down. As for the Packer comment, I clearly believe they deserve to be in the playoffs and that Arizona has no right to be playing here in the playoffs. Sorry but your opposing teams were the Seahawks, Rams, and 49ers. The 49ers were their only real challenge and they were 1 for 2 this year. Arizona needs to realize they are not in the same playing mode or talent as the rest of the NFC Playoff teams. Oh by the way, Packers have the number two defense in the NFL. Sorry the stats show Packers winning and not Arizona.
