Jake Rosholt vs. Nissen Osterneck
Jake Rosholt wins by TKO ref stoppage at 3:48 in round 2
Both fighters came out strong and Osterneck wanted to keep it standing while Rosholt was looking to take it to the ground. Rosholt showed that he has a strong chin and took a lot of shots from Osterneck while standing.
In round 2 Osterneck was putting quite a pounding on Rosholt in the stand up but Rosholt took it to the ground. Osterneck was mounted on his stomach and Rosholt continued hitting him. The ref told Osterneck to improve his position or else he would have to stop the fight. Osterneck didn’t really improve his position to defend himself and the ref stopped the fight at 3:48.
Jake Rosholt is undefeated in his WEC Middleweight debut.
