There have been some great runs in the history of the NFL. However, Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks might have just authored the greatest run in the history of the league — especially when you consider the circumstances. As you can see in the video below, Marshawn Lynch ripped off a 67-yard run with less than four minutes remaining in the game between the Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints, the NFL’s defending Super Bowl champion.
Marshawn Lynch’s run gave the Seahawks a 41-30 lead. It’s safe to say the Saints would have gone on to win without Lynch’s amazing run. Now, the Seahawks are in a great position to win the game.
In the regular season, Marshawn Lynch never ran for more than 90 yards in a game. His 3.5 yards per rush was a career-low for the 24-year-old running back out of Cal. But now, all of his struggles are forgotten.
