Marcin Gortat suffered a broken nose against the New Orleans Hornets this weekend in a freak accident on the court. As you can see in the Marcin Gortat video below, the Polish center for the Phoenix Suns ran into the back of Steve Nash’s head. After running into Nash, he fell to the ground and had blood pouring all over the ground.

Though he was in a lot of pain and ended up having to have his nose popped back into place, Marcin Gortat isn’t going to miss a game. In fact, he will start on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks.
Since being traded to the Suns from the Orlando Magic earlier this season, he’s averaging 12.5 points and 8.9 rebounds while shooting 56.7% from the field. Everyone knew Marcin Gortat had a lot of talent but his play with the Suns has been a welcomed surprise to everyone in Phoenix.
Now that he’s okay, we can all laugh at how Marcin Gortat broke his nose. here’s the video:
