There’s a slick new Adidas Derrick Rose commercial. The commercial introduces the NBA’s reigning MVP’s latest shoe: the adiZero Rose 2. Even though there is an NBA lockout, that hasn’t stopped shoe companies looking to expand their brand.
And really, this commercial is tight. The concept is Derrick Rose taking on a series of bullfighters. Using his athleticism and ballhandling, Derrick Rose evades the bullfighters and then dunks a basketball. The crowd goes wild, starts waiving red flags and throws red roses. It sounds corny but if you watch this Derrick Rose adiZero Rose 2 commercial, you’ll see that Adidas did good work.

In a recent interview, Derrick Rose said that he’d consider playing overseas if the 2011-12 season is lost due to the lockout. Wherever he plays, he’ll surely be a fan favorite and somewhat worth the price of admission.
