The Toronto FC soccer club has gone from bad to worse for midfielder Carl Robinson. Toronto FC are three points behind a spot that would give them a chance to play towards the MLS Cup this year and they have no hope of making it. To make matters worse Robinson collided with a team member during practice injuring his face.

Toronto FC midfielder Carl Robinson (33). The New York Red Bulls defeated Toronto FC 2-0 during a Major League Soccer match at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on August 17, 2008.
The injury was so severe that he was advised to get reconstructive surgery from his physician. The surgery will keep him off of the pitch for at least 6 weeks. That’s more than enough time to miss out on the painful last three game his team will have to play to end the season.
