With the NBA season getting the green light thanks to the end of the lockout, a quick offseason free agent signing period is set to begin on Dec. 9. Who are the best NBA players in free agency? Here’s our top ten NBA free agents:
1. Tyson Chandler
When healthy, Tyson Chandler is a championship caliber defensive force.
2. Nene
There are few centers who can match his all-around impact.
3. Marc Gasol
Although not flashy, Marc Gasol is extremely effective.
4. David West
If his knee is healthy, David West is a top flight power forward.
5. Tayshaun Prince
A legit defender who plays smart basketball on both ends.
6. Thaddeus Young
You may not have heard of him but he’s a legit up-and-comer.
7. Rodney Stuckey
Doesn’t have a true position but he is productive.
8. Andrei Kirilenko
In the right system, AK47 would be disruptive.
9. Jamal Crawford
When it comes to instant offense, you won’t find many better.
10. Greg Oden
A healthy Greg Oden could be great. He’s still just 23.

The one restricted free agen for Detroit Pistons is Rodney Stuckey. I would also check out Thaddeus Young who has a lot of talent. If they cound get Greg Odom the team will be a success
