Tony Romo Injury Update – More Injections

Tony Romo suffered a punctured lung and a broken rib in Week 2. He battled through the pain in Week 3 and played a key role in the Dallas Cowboys beating the Washington Redskins. This weekend, Tony Romo will play … but it will come with a price.

In order to play, Tony Romo is going to have to get more pain injections. While he’ll mostly likely be able to play, Tony Romo will probably be somewhat limited for at least the next three weeks.

In Week 4, the Cowboys host the undefeated Detroit Lions. The Lions have a young and physical defense, so expect Detroit to hit Tony Romo as much as possible.

If you own Tony Romo in fantasy football, it’d be a good idea to also own Jon Kitna as a handcuff. Though Jon Kitna isn’t very good, he’s a startable option if Tony Romo is unable to go.
