The Dallas Cowboys are facing a must-win game against the New York Giants on Sunday. Unfortunately, quarterback Tony Romo won’t be completely healthy. He bruised his throwing hand in Week 16 and has been practicing with a wrap heading into Week 17.
That said, the Cowboys and Romo are confident that he will play this week. In fact, receivers said that Romo was throwing the ball perfectly fine during Thursday’s practice.
If Romo can’t go or can’t finish the game, expect backup QB Stephen McGee to take the reins. But obviously, the Cowboys desperately want Romo to be leading the squad.
On the season, Romo has 3,895 passing yards to go along with 29 touchdowns and only nine interceptions. He also has a career-high quarterback rating of 102.2.
