This week on b5 sports channel we are posting about ‘The Worst,’ which in the world of poker could be defined a billion ways. I started looking for some bad beat instances from YouTube, but then found this clip instead:
I think Huck Seed’s spot here truly is the worst. Flopping the nuts, checking it down, and not getting anyone to fire at you or call when you finally bet the river. These kind of instances seem to hurt just as much as the suck outs. You wait and wait and finally make your hand and it’s like you never even played.
All that said, this is kind of a dual post, alternately titled ‘The Best,’ as the way Chan plays aces in this spot is absolutely just brilliant. This might be a more impressive lay down than Allen Cunningham’s aces laydown. Chan doesn’t lose a cent.

Yeah I much prefer betting into a board like that with big hand. More likely to get raisers.
Winning none sucks.
Huck should have bet on the flop with a paired board and probably not bet the river.
On Sunday I flopped I played AK on the button passive and just called hoping to trap. The flop comes AAK and I check the nuts, turn is a blank and I check the nuts, river is an ace and I have to value bet.
4 players folded. Not one had anything to call with.
Pissed me off.
