Losing four games in a row is bad. Getting outed as a group of crybabies is even worse. That’s where the Miami Heat stand after they lost to the Chicago Bulls on Sunday afternoon. Following their 87-86 loss — Miami’s fourth consecutive defeat — that featured another fourth quarter meltdown, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra admitted his team is a team of crybabies.
“This is painful for every single one of us to go through this,” Spoelstra remarked, “there are couple of guys crying in the locker room right now.”
Seriously? That’s hilarious. If the Heat shed tears after a regular season game, what’s going to happen in the playoffs? Will they start crying every time the other team makes a run? Will tears flow when times get tough? It sure sounds like it.
After LeBron James took his talents to South Beach to join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, it appeared to be the beginning of a dynasty. Instead, the Heat have turned out to be a collection of crybabies.
