The ever-exciting career of Terrell Owens may be over. According to reports, the star wide receiver suffered a torn ACL recently and had to undergo surgery to repair the knee injury. Due to the injury, the 37-year-old will likely have to miss the 2011 NFL season.
Unless there is a miraculous recovery, Owens wouldn’t be able to play again until 2012. At that point, it’s doubtful that an NFL team would take a chance on him. Not only would he be old, he’d be coming off a major injury. Plus, who will want to deal with the T.O. drama when the production will drop?
How and when Terrell Owens tore his ACL is unknown. Some say he hurt it while taping a VH1 show. Others say he hurt himself while working out on his own.
