Terrell Owens Gets Stood Up

Terrell Owens held a public workout to drum up interest for his attempted return to the NFL. One problem: Not a single NFL team showed up to watch the workout. Apparently, nobody wants to roll the dice on a 37-year-old wide receiver who is coming off of a major knee injury … and that’s not even mentioning T.O.’s legendary ability to destroy team chemistry.

Despite the non-existent showing, Owens believes he’ll be back on the pro field once again.

Said T.O.: “I only need one team. I only need one chance.”

Last season with the Cincinnati Bengals, Owens actually was pretty darn good. He caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns. But does any team want to put up with his baggage?

It doesn’t look like it.
