Tarvaris Jackson Signing with the Seahawks?

With news that the Seattle Seahawks won’t re-sign Matt Hasselbeck, that means that the Seahawks need a replacement quarterback. The answer may be a former quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. According to NFL rumors, Tarvaris Jackson is close to signing with the Seahawks.

Tarvaris Jackson has a lot of talent and is a great athlete. That said, he hasn’t been able to put it all together. He used to be the future of the Vikings … but that was a failure. Now the Seahawks may see him as an answer.

Even if Tarvaris Jackson is signed by Seattle, he won’t necessarily become the starter. As of now, Charlie Whitehurst is regarded as the favorite to win the starting quarterback gig. That isn’t expected to change.
