Stevie Johnson’s poor decision to mock Plaxico Burress shooting himself in the thigh continues to haunt him. On Wednesday, the NFL fined Stevie Johnson $10,000 for his touchdown celebration. Neither the NFL nor the wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills has commented on the fine.
As we noted earlier, Plaxico Burress decided to ride the high road and has forgiven Stevie Johnson. You can see the Stevie Johnson celebration here.
“I don’t want everybody to say he’s a bad guy because he made a mistake. I’ve made a few in my life,” admitted Plaxico Burress.
Plaxico Burress has had a good season with the Jets after missing two NFL seasons while serving a prison sentence for the incident in which he shot himself in the thigh.
