Starting Lineups for 2011 NBA All-Star Game

The 2011 NBA All-Star Game is beginning to take shape. On Thursday, the NBA announced the starting lineups. Though there is no huge snub in either conference, it is notable that neither conference’s best team (the Boston Celtics in the East and the San Antonio Spurs in the West) has a representative in the All-Star game starting lineup.

The Eastern Conference has Derrick Rose at point guard, Dwyane Wade at shooting guard, LeBron James at small forward, Amare Stoudemire at power forward and Dwight Howard at center. The Western Conference has Chris Paul at point guard, Kobe Bryant at shooting guard, Kevin Durant at small forward, Carmelo Anthony at power forward and Yao Ming at center.

Obviously Yao Ming, who is out for the season due to a foot injury, will be replaced. Who will replace Yao Ming? That decision will be made by NBA commissioner David Stern.

The NBA All-Star Game reserves will be announced on February 3rd. Who will the reserves be? Check out the official EveryJoe NBA All-Star Game roster prediction.
