Sidney Crosby Neck Injury

Is Sidney Crosby’s NHL career all but over? It’s starting to look that way. The superstar for the Pittsburgh Penguins not only is dealing with post-concussion syndrome, he also has a neck injury. Crosby is currently seeing specialists and is expecting a diagnosis within the next couple days.

Pat Brisson, Crosby’s agent, had this to say about the neck injury: “The good news is he’s safe. It’s treatable, which is positive.”

After missing a lot of last season, Crosby returned to the ice early this season. However, on December 5th, his post-concussion syndrome symptoms returns — and he’s been sidelined since that point.

While Crosby is one of the most talented players in the game of hockey, it’s looking more and more that his body can’t hold up to the strain of the game. Going forward, let’s just hope he can regain his health.
