After the first couple rounds, it can be difficult to find a decent running back this year in fantasy football. However, here are a few sleeper running backs that you may be able to steal in your 2011 fantasy football drafts.
DeAngelo Williams, Carolina Panthers
In 2009, DeAngelo Williams was a fantasy football stud. This past offseason, the Panthers invested big money in him. A big year wouldn’t surprise me at all.
Ryan Mathews, San Diego Chargers
Though he was a bust last season, Ryan Mathews is a starting running back for a very good offensive team. That counts for a lot.
Tim Hightower, Washington Redskins
As long as Ryan Torain is banged up, Tim Hightower will get plenty of touches. His ability to score touchdowns helps his overall value.
Danny Woodhead, New England Patriots
You don’t want to have to count on Danny Woodhead week in and week out, but as a spot starter he adds quality depth to your 2011 fantasy football team.
