Ronnie Brown Signs with Eagles – Fantasy Football Projections

The Philadelphia Eagles just keep signing big name after big name after big name. For Eagles fan, this must feel like the ultimate dream. The latest big name to sign with the Eagles is Ronnie Brown. The talented running back will backup LeSean McCoy in Philadelphia.

Ronnie Brown, who was offered more money elsewhere, took a one-year contract with the Eagles. His addition gives the Eagles much needed depth at the running back position.

However, for Ronnie Brown’s fantasy football projections, this is a disaster. He has spent the last six seasons with the Miami Dolphins and started almost ever game he played in. Now, behind LeSean McCoy, Ronnie Brown can’t be counted on for more than a few carries a game.

In 2011 fantasy football drafts, Ronnie Brown is nothing more than a late round LeSean McCoy handcuff. That’s quite a drop for a guy who has been relatively decent RB2.
