The Florida Panthers might be rethinking their decision to draft Rocco Grimaldi in the second round of the 2011 NHL Draft. In a recent Twitter rant, Rocco Grimaldi told chicks around the world to “put your boobs away”. Blasphemy!
I already don’t like this guy. Hopefully he never becomes a hockey star. I’m rooting against you, Rocco.
Here is the Roccco Grimaldi Twitter rant:
“Ladies, you can help us guys out big time. Put your boobs away and everything else that is hanging out. Guys have a hard enough time with that temptation without u helping it along. When did being a beautiful girl become dressing with the least amount of clothes on? When did what u wear become a competition? Before you dress ask, “Does this outfit honor God, does it honor my body, does it help serve/love my brothers? If it’s a no to any of those questions, then u shouldn’t wear that outfit.”
As you would guess, Rocco Grimaldi is a born-again Christian. He claims to read the bible on a daily basis. He also doesn’t have many friends … of either sex.

Hi. When I read Rocco’s comments I couldn’t believe it. Neither could most of my friends at school. However, when we really stopped and thought about what he said, we had to admit it: the guy was right, and not only right, he is ddecent. How many guys would rather look upon a female as a real genuine human being, as opposed to some cookie-cutout Barbie doll-wannabe? That’s so cool. He’s the kind of guy girls actually want to go out with. At least you know you are with a guy who isn’t viewing you as a “piece of meat”! Who freakin’; wants that?!? I have to admit, I have seen some girls just go ridiculous with trying to catch a guy. Boobies hangin’ out of their shirts, butt cracks clearly visible. The nastiest looking females have the clearly bad taste to brandish tattoos in the midst of all the hot mess. I say right-on, Rocco. It’s good to know ALL men aren’t freakin’ savages!
Yes, I know it may be hard to believe that in this day and age there are men out there that actually have respect enough for women to encourage them to have respect for themselves and their own bodies. Don’t hate on Rocco just because he says the truth (he doesn’t hate “boobs” but rather the idea that many women display themselves as a sexual object rather than a person), admitting the obvious, that men are very visual and that we should help them out by actually putting on some clothes rather than dressing with as little as possible is commendable and shows he is a man of character (which is a rarity these days let me tell you).
If you all would take a little time to read the Bible, which I highly encourage you to do, you can see that though God made our bodies so precious and beautiful , he wants us to actually protect ourselves from negative attention and doesn’t want us causing others to stumble (with lustful thoughts and such or have a women be looked at just as body parts). Yes, this concept may NOT fall into the norm of what most say is “beautiful” but Rocco isn’t catering to the masses but cares more about what God thinks, and encouraging women to look in the mirror and asking, “Would GOD be down with this outfit?!” Not such a bad idea! Rocco, mad props for taking a stand and not stepping down just because most of the world says differently! Most would only have thought or believed these things, but wouldn’t have the guts to speak this truth aloud…incredible!
Rocco is right on! Its nice to see someone like Rocco who has the GUTS to publicaly “Stand in the Gap” for Jesus. You would do well to listen to every word he says. Women should know that Jesus tells us to love our wives as He so loved the world, that God gave His only begotten son to die for us!

Yes, he lives his faith and the only judgement he delivers comes from your actions not your heart. We all fall short but living for God is the only way. We are proud of you Rocco.
