RB Rankings – Fantasy Football Week 17

The fantasy football season ends tomorrow. Hopefully you have at least one stud running back on your side. Here’s a look at our RB rankings for Week 17 of the 2009 fantasy football season.

1. Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans
Even though the Titans aren’t playing for anything, expect Johnson to get as many carries as he can handle.

2. Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville Jaguars
A two touchdown game is very likely for MJD as the Jaguars try to keep their slim playoff chances alive.

3. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
In the second half of their last game, Adrian Peterson looked very, very good.

4. Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens
Ray Rice and the Ravens just need to beat the Raiders to make the playoffs. Rice will lead the way.

5. Jonathan Stewart, Carolina Panthers
Going against a Saints defense that won’t be trying too hard, Steward will go wild.

6. Thomas Jones, New York Jets
The Jets need this win and they’ll lean on Thomas Jones to get the job done.

7. Jerome Harrison, Cleveland Browns
What he’s done the last two weeks can’t be ignored. He should see plenty of touches.

8. Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers
The Niners want to end their season on a high note. Getting Gore going is a way to do that.

9. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs
Another player who is playing too well to ignore is Jamaal Charles of the Chiefs.

10. Rashard Mendenhall, Pittsburgh Steelers
Mendenhall hasn’t been too impressive lately but his final showing of the 2009 season should be a strong one.
