Nolan Ryan, the CEO and president of the Texas Rangers, was taken to a Houston area hospital on Sunday. According to reports, Ryan is believed to be suffering from a heart related issue. In the past, the 64-year-old Hall of Fame pitcher has dealt with heart problems.
In the hospital, Ryan will undergo tests. The Rangers are reporting that Ryan is already feeling better and is expected to be released from the hospital by the end of the week.
Since Ryan has taken control of the Rangers in 2008, the team has enjoyed their most success in its history. Last year, the Rangers represented the American League in the World Series. Currently, Texas has won 11 straight games and have a 4-game lead in the AL West.
