Ndamukong Suh has the physical ability to become the best player in the NFL. Unfortunately, the second-year player doesn’t yet know now to control his emotions. That fact was on full display during the Thanksgiving Day game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
In the aftermath of the ugly incident that saw Suh push a player’s head into the ground and then stomp on his arm, the Lions defensive lineman has now officially been suspended for two games. He will lose nearly $165,000 as part of the penalty.
What got Suh in more trouble than just the incident was going on TV following the game and saying he did nothing wrong. That move forced NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to come down hard on him.
We’ll see if this suspension finally gets Suh to wake up and learn to harness his power for good. But don’t hold your breath.
