If you are the commissioner of the NFL, your main focus should be keeping a level playing field. You don’t want to show bias in any direction. Roger Goodell apparently doesn’t see it that way.
In a recent conversation with GQ, Michael Vick not-so-subtly hinted that he was forced to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“I didn’t want to come to Philadelphia,” admitted Michael Vick. “Being the third-team quarterback is nothing to smile about. Cincinnati and Buffalo were better options.”
Fans of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills should be pissed, especially now that Michael Vick is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. As it stands, both the Bengals and Bills are without an elite QB — or even a halfway decent QB.
Roger Goodell has some explaining to do.
