Michael Vick Nixes Oprah Winfrey

Michael Vick was scheduled to appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Shown next week. But that won’t be happening. Michael Vick, the quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles, canceled on Oprah Winfrey. Michael Vick, whose inspirational return from prison to NFL stardom was the biggest story of the football season, would have brought huge ratings for Oprah. Somehow, she’ll have to survive.

Personally, I think this was a good move for Michael Vick. Why go on Oprah? She’ll make him open up about everything and leave him crying. Or, even worse, if he doesn’t cry and doesn’t answer questions correctly, it could be a PR disaster. Michael Vick needs to concentrate on football and slowly rebuilding his life.

Said Michael Vick in a press release: “After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview. I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future.”
