The injury news for Michael Vick took a rare turn for the good on Monday morning. After first saying that Vick broke his right hand, the Philadelphia Eagles now say that Vick suffered a bruised hand. That news makes it much more likely that Vick will be able to play in Week 4.
In the fantasy football world, Vick owners can now breathe a sigh of relief. If he’s able to play this week, he’s still a must-start. While Vick is off to a relatively slow start this season, he’s still so explosive that it’s almost impossible to sit him.
If Vick can’t go this week, expect either Mike Kafka or Vince Young to start for the Eagles. Young would be the next in line but he too is injured.
The Eagles are now 1-2 on the season after losing in Week 3 29-16 against the New York Giants. In Week 4, the Eagles take on the San Francisco 49ers.
