American swimmer, Michael Phelps, captured his 8th gold medal of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games when he and his teammates, Brendan Hansen, Jason Lezak and Aaron Piersol, set a World Record in the men’s 4×100 medley relay race earlier today. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the event. I was so terrified that they might get disqualified for an early entrance into the pool by one of the team members but it went smoothly and ultimately helped Phelps become the best Olympian of all-time.
