Thankfully, the NBA trade deadline is this coming Thursday. At that point, we can finally be done with the drama surrounding Carmelo Anthony. It seems like the Carmelo Anthony trade rumors change every hour. Carmelo is going to the Lakers! Carmelo is going to the Knicks! Carmelo is going to the Nets! Carmelo is staying with the Nuggets! This MeloDrama is getting quite annoying.
The latest Carmelo Anthony rumors are mostly concentrating on the New York Knicks and the New Jersey Nets. The Knicks supposedly have made their best and supposed last trade offer. The Nets, on the other hand, have reportedly already made an offer the Nuggets have accepted — with the hold up being Carmelo agreeing to sign an extension with the Nets.
While the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets were in talks earlier with the Nuggets, it sounds like those two teams are out of it. If you believe the latest Carmelo Anthony trade rumors, he is either going to be traded to the Knicks, traded to the Nets or stay with the Nuggets.
