Kobe Bryant Injury Update – Injured Foot

Surprise, surprise — Kobe Bryant is being a drama queen about another injury. This time, the injury is to his left foot. Kobe suffered the foot injury late in the fourth quarter in Game 4 in the Los Angeles Lakers series against the New Orleans Hornets. After the game, he was on crutches to protect the foot injury. He also, of course, talked about his injury.

“I’m concerned, as I am about any injury,” said Kobe. “But I’ve played through so many of them it kind of becomes old hat for me.”

What a warrior.

Kobe left a little bit of doubt about whether or not he’ll play in Game 5 — but there’s absolutely no way he’ll sit out. The injury looked minor and Kobe has bounced back from much worse. If it were anywhere near a major injury, Kobe would really be drama queening right about now.

So, Lakers fans, take a deep breath and know that the superstar shooting guard on your team is going to play on Tuesday.
