Kevin Durant Bites T’Wolves

Kevin Durant and Kevin Love are two of the best young players in the NBA. On Wednesday night, they showed why. In an affair that went into an extra session, the Oklahoma City defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves by a final score of 118-117. Kevin Durant had 47 points and 18 rebounds, while Kevin Love poured in 31 points and 21 rebounds.

Durant was especially dominant in the third quarter, when he scored 16 points and pulled down eight rebouds.

Said Durant: “I was a little upset with myself with the first half, the shots I was missing. The second half I was able to get to where I wanted to, get to the free throw line. I think my rebounding sparked me a little bit.”

Love knows all about rebounding. The 22-year-old out of UCLA is leading the NBA in rebounding at 15.7 per contest. However, on this night, even Love couldn’t deny Durant’s greatness.

Said Love: “All I can say is Durant is incredible. He’s incredible.”
