Kemba Walker and UConn to Final Four

Kemba Walker has been the best player in all of college basketball over the last three weeks. In that span, UConn has won all nine games they have played. Their latest victim was Arizona. With a 65-63 victory on Saturday night, UConn is headed to the Final Four. That makes us 2-for-2 in our Elite 8 predictions for March Madness 2011.

Walker finished the game with 20 points and seven assists. He got a lot of help from freshman Jeremy Lamb, who added 19 points and played great defense down the stretch of the game.

Derrick Williams, Arizona’s superstar, had 20 points and five rebounds. However, he missed a three-pointer at the end that could have given his team the win.

In the Final Four, UConn will play the winner of the Elite 8 game between North Carolina and Kentucky. Whoever wins, you can bet Kemba Walker and his emerging teammates will be ready to extend their winning ways.
