Jarrett Jack, who was traded from the Toronto Raptors to the New Orleans Hornets earlier in the season, was arrested and charged with DUI. The point guard was driving his Mercedes in Snellville, Georgia when he got caught going 21 MPH over the 45-MPH zone. Jarrett Jack was also got a failure to maintain a lane charge.
Jarrett Jack went to college at Georgia Tech and lives in Atlanta. The 27-year-old was arrested Sunday morning and was released from police on Sunday night.
On the basketball court, Jarrett Jack has been a disappointment in both Toronto and New Orleans. With the Hornets, he’s averaging just 6.8 points while shooting 38.4% from the field. Last year, he averaged 11.4 points on 48.1% shooting for the Raptors.
The Hornets haven’t announced any disciplinary action as of yet.
