Is Joakim Noah Dirty?

After the Indiana Pacers were eliminated by the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday by a final score of 116-89, Pacers all-star forward Danny Granger hand some unkind words for Bulls center Joakim Noah. According to Granger, the always energetic Noah doesn’t always play fair.

Said Granger: “He pulled a cowardly move. He cheap-shotted a couple of my teammates.”

Granger wasn’t finished.

“It’s cowardly,” he added, “and I’m going to say something about it … I just don’t think the game should be played that way. You can play hard and fight and battle, but when you start cheap-shotting people, it gets out of hand.”

During the game, Noah and Josh McRoberts got physical with each other. McRoberts got caught retaliating and was thrown out of the game. Noah and Tyler Hansbrough also went nose to nose.

“They play hard as hell — they were competitive,” said Noah about the Pacers after the game. “I don’t have anything bad to say about them. Everybody saw what happened out there. Now you want to call me a dirty player? I don’t think I’ve ever been a dirty player.”
